It’s that time of the year again when Apple unveils the successor to the previous year’s flagship Apple iPhone.
As a tech enthusiasts, we are excited to see the big launch. Before the official showcase, here is a rundown of what we expect.
Phone 14 Release Date: Launch Is Today, but When Can You Buy One?
Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event happening today will present the new array of iPhones, with the major change being the introduction of the iPhone 14 Plus in favor of the retracted iPhone 14 mini.
The iPhone 14 is expected to maintain some features of its predecessor, the iPhone 13, including its design and chipset make.
The Pro models, however, will have a new design, a higher resolution camera, and higher-grade silicon chips than the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.
The event will reveal details of the following: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Other Apple products such as the Apple Watch Pro, Apple Watch 8, and Apple Watch SE 2, will be revealed at today’s launch, with the possibility of the AirPods Pro 2 to be premiered too.
When can you buy yours?
With the release date announced to be September 16, Apple has only nine days left to make sure their customers and users are not disappointed. However, we believe Apple will eventually come through and blow minds as usual.
There are already questionable rumors suggesting a delay in a model of the Apple iPhone line-up.
What we know about the iPhone14
Design
The iPhone 14 will look more like its predecessor, the iPhone 13. However, the model is switching to a punch-hole camera instead of a notch. This means that you can’t use the same case on all devices.
Also, Apple is discontinuing its mini size, instead, they will be launching “Plus” versions for the iPhone 14.
Display
Both iPhone 14 Plus and Pro Max models will have a 6.7-inch display screen. While the base iPhone 14 and 14 Pro will feature a 6.1-inch display screen.
The Pro and Pro Max would also be featuring 120HZ screens, while the less expensive models will come with 60HZ screens.
Camera
The standard iPhone 14 will use only two lenses, while the iPhone Pro and Pro Max models will feature triple-lens cameras.
Also, the Pro and Pro Max models will have 48MP main cameras,
Battery Life and Charging
The iPhone 14 battery specifications are as follows:
- iPhone 14 (standard) – 3,279 mAh battery
- iPhone 14 Pro Max – 4,323 mAh battery
- iPhone 14 Pro – 3,200 mAh battery
- iPhone 14 Max – 4,352 mAh battery
Processor and Storage
All four iPhone 14 models are coming with the Apple A15 Bionic chipset. Furthermore, they will come with 6GB RAM, with the Pro Max featuring 1TB in storage space.
